i8: Chariot of the Gods
Took this shot a week ago on Angeles Crest Highway in Southern California. Almost decided against going up into the San Gabriel Mountains due to the cloudy weather at lower elevation, but when I got above the clouds, the views were spectacular. I'm no professional photographer, but I do like the way the clouds almost mirror the design of the i8 with my Crystal White Pearl Metallic with Frozen Grey color scheme.

I have had this car on Laguna Seca, and Thunderhill racetracks. Street tires. It'll do 2 or 3 laps with battery assistance, then it's all about 1.5L of gas power.

Perhaps if it were a hard top- but the pillars really are missed especially in person. The soft top just kills the design for me

Lovely car but I don’t know if you noticed but your wheels are mis-matched? The rear ones are facing backwards and don’t match the front ones. I only noticed myself because it happened to me when the dealer put on two new rear tyres and put the wheels back on the wrong sides. Didn’t affect the tyre grip since they are asymmetrical rather than directional... it was just a case of swapping the rear alloys over, the outside edge remained outside.
You may have already noticed and had them swapped around of course but like I said, lovely car! |
