Random 'Assisted Driving is Available' Announcement

I keep getting 'Hey, Assisted Driving is available in this route, would you like to try it' announcement randomly. It interrupts the music and seems to be coming out of nowhere. Is there a way to disable these 'hey try this stuff' announcements?

Yes, somewhere in the settings there are settings for things the system can suggest. I can't remember where it is exactly and went through the online manual and didn't find it.

I turned off BMW suggestions. Very annoying.

I notice that this seems to happen a few times after each iDrive reboot - which is quite often for me, but that’s another topic. It’s like it resets the “nag flag” to announce again.

I suggest you check your setting and turn it off if it is not already the case. You may simply use radar cruise control often enough that the car doesn't feel the need to nag you, but every now and again, it will if you aren't using it and it will always be annoying.

It is so annoying, and was announcing this to me on almost every drive, once I entered the freeway (aka highway/interstate/Autobahn).

So glad someone helped me find out how to disable.
