We are getting about ~260 miles of highway range (ECO Pro, 70mph, 45psi all tires) with a squared 255/35R20 all seasons setup, with the rear spoiler, front lip, and on Eibach springs. No real winter in Florida.

Carbon buckets leather is only Merino from factory, Tacora Red is Vernasca.

Carbon buckets swap from non-ventilated Sport seats in 4 steps:
  • Add 4 wires (X12*B): K-CAN +/- (pin 5, pin 6) to passenger controller*, +12V wire (pin 7) to power ///M badges to each seat controller
  • Remove/isolate wire from pin 4 (LIN) in passenger seat controller (X12*B) - Carbon buckets have no footwell light.
  • VO Coded 48C (Carbon Buckets), remove 481(Sport seats) or 712(M Sport seats), and 488 (lumbar) via BimmerUtility
  • Enable occupancy sensor on passenger controller via ISTA (clear any airbag error)

OEM integration, fully functional.

* ventilated seats, or M Sport seats have controller on passenger-side, CAN wires are already in there so no need to add CAN wires.

This is an iDrive 7 motorized center speaker mount heavily modified to fit the iDrive 8 dash. Available at AliExpress (no affiliation).

Dual USB data/power port

Got an extra dual USB C port from a MINI Countryman U25 (84105A57B32) to try it in the i4... it works better in the iDrive 8.5 than in the Countryman with iDrive 9:
