Here in the US...
Gosh - is the xDrive 60 worth it over the xDrive 45? Comparably equipped with similar wheels, glass roof, iconic sounds and rear climate controls, I believe it's about $10k more to get: 1) 0-60 4.4 vs. 4.9 2) charging @ dc 195 vs. 175 and ac 22 vs 11 3) range of max 340 vs. 312 Is there anything else I'm missing? |

FWIW, it’s still only a max of 11kW AC charging on all models for the US, per the press release. That part didn’t change.
The Combined Charging Unit (CCU) used in all model variants of the new BMW iX enables AC charging with a maximum output of 11 kW. |

Thanks for coding this.
The 45/60 are missing the MSport Pro pkg option ($950, req ZMP) and Castanea shows as standard, where it's $3500. The 23" wheels are $2800 or $2000 depending on ZMP and there are other wheel options. I think it's too complicated to try and code perfectly, and the BMW configurator will be up soon. But appreciate the effort, seems like a lot of work! Quote:

The OP I meant is "smithf80". The hitch turned out to be orderable because it IMHO was a receiver hitch (ala X5) and not a retractable hitch. I was amazed that the order went through that way. You can see it in the video from the Canadian Car Show.

Oh ok. If unable to share deal details that’s ok. Just curious.

OK. I don't think there is anything special about a 10% discount off MSRP for a cash sale. Who knows, there may be loyalty or finance incentives offered in the May time frame when the iX is delivered.

I just came back from a test drive of a 2026 60, nearly fully loaded (only missing options are Dynamic Handling, Bowers/Wilkins). This car even had the tow hitch!
Seats: they are really nice! This car had the Castanea M Sport seats (I have Castanea in mine too, it was nice to compare) and they are fantastic. Supportive, though the side bolsters do not hug my 6’2 150lb frame as much as I’d like. My former 240lb self might have a different result. I tried the massage and … still disappointing to say the least. Boo. Ride: this car had 22” summer Pirelli Scorpions. The ride, even without air suspension, felt better than my M60 with 22s and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 AS. It was also quieter. I notice zero motor whine, whereas mine makes a tinge of motor whine. Always has… Tow hitch: I can confirm the tow hitch exists AND the kick function works on the iX with the tow hitch. There was some speculation (by me!) that the tow hitch deletes the kick to open function, but it does not! The car I drove is carbon black. I did not take many pics, but here you go!

At least we were treated to a review.
Sounds like it was better in every way. At least the bolstered seats look better. The 2025 M60 I test drove had surprisingly lackluster seats. |

Nice one LuisBoston.
Interesting in black (not my colour anyway) the grey strips really show up and I think would look better in all black. |

That gray is really just the white protector tape over the glossy bits!
