Boring!

When the chief marketing and finance officers get together, you get a half assed effort like this, just to make a few quick bucks.

To me, it looks much nicer in the videos than in the still photos. Likely better in the flesh. But I keep seeing CTS coupe in the 3/4 front view images, not a good thing. Might just be the chrome trim.

It appears that there are no functional rear seats? Am I seeing that correctly?

It is absolutely beautiful and a very bold statement by BMW.

Ignore the older tech for a moment, this would be updated in a heartbeat.

Im just not in love with the price tag, but then again this is more of a status symbol than an actual vehicle.

Who is wasting all this time and money on these insane concepts? Why can't they just give us an m3 wagon in the US instead like we all want. Surely some of the time and effort getting these silly concepts crash tested could just be done on a real mass produced car instead. Such a waste.

I was going to buy a his & hers pair, but according to R&T, the USA allocation for the Speedtop is (checks notes) zero cars.

Beautiful design! BMW should incorporate many of these design elements for other production line up. Front kidney grille, proper headlight position, flared fender with smooth shoulder line, center console shifter, driver focused dashboard, and most important of all ICE powered drivetrain.

Beautiful. I’ve not been liking the design language of recent preview models but this restores my faith that BMW still has vision.

Hope to see more of this influence in mainstream models. And the return of common sense in the form of some physical dials for heating/fan controls of yesteryear…. Or at least the option to spec them.

Reminds me of Ferrari FF and GTC Lusso but with less special interior materials and design.

We had them decades ago before anyone else. We do not want them here anymore.

So, even BMW quietly admits that this is the proper dashboard for a beautiful machine—not that Alibaba-style screen slapped onto the dash without proper integration, or the new cars that are missing a traditional shifter, with even the central console gone, taking away not only the driver/passenger perception of dedicated space but also a useful area where you can store things.

And yes, this is a proper BMW, with quality craftsmanship, good leather, and color tones that make it unique and luxurious, offering a wonderful visual and tactile experience.
So it can be done, without weird front faces, scars on the hood, shitty dashboard and regular sedan doors slammed on the M3 making the rear door- rear fender connection look like was wrongfully welded by some amateurs in their backyard garage...

Well done! Now, please put this in every car that can be ordered—or at least in the Individual line—so we can have it too. I love the Coupe, as the Cabrio is a little weird for my taste. However, I would have preferred two more seats in the back instead of that useless storage space.
I also believe that the B58 / S58 could have been a better choice for this machine...

Exact same sentiment. Almost like they purposefully want to make old
Tech with new exteriors.

The press should ask this same question specially for these limited run units that are selling for half a mil.
