So uh, I feel like this update made the charge in time slot even worse for me. Now it immediately charges no matter what as soon as I plug the cable in. At least the last issue was the reverse - it wouldn't charge until I sent a lock command (which I can do from anywhere), now I'll have to wait to plug in until 8pm if I want off-peak charging. I haven't tried any resets or anything yet, wanted to see if others are having the same issue or if maybe something's just busted on my end.

Also had a random issue where I turned on the park cameras, and the top-down 360 view showed a black cone for the front camera, but the main camera view still said "Front" and was showing my left side camera. Not sure if that's related to the update though.

Are you SRP or APS?
We have APS and the difference from a set rate to off peak/varied rates are 99% identical.

SRP, thankfully. APS is hot garbage. Though their TOU plan does seem to be a 12c to 32c split so it's pretty substantial still. I used to be on SRP's basic plan because I didn't like the idea of on/off-peak at first, but I save >$300 a year on the TOU plan, probably slightly more now with the EV.

Does your home charger have any smart/scheduling features? I have a Tesla charger and I schedule my off-peak charging through it, so BMW's scheduling issues are irrelevant to me.

No, I have to go through the BMW interface, hence it being an issue.

Finally got this update yesterday.

I'm pleased to see the inclusion of the rear door open/close button in the app, together with being able to disable the alarm/tilt sensors from the app (emulating the double press of the key fob lock button).

I've found the ability to disable unlocking at home a bit less than useful as I also need to be able to do this at work.

Being able to start in Efficient mode is useful. (Am on the right continent for this.)

Home & Work navigation shortcuts on the home screen are useful & saving me two shortcuts in the pull-down menu - but why are they absent from the main nav screen?

So to update, the charge in time slot does appear to be functioning okay. It just now takes like two or three full minutes for it to recognize and pause - used to be more like 30 seconds. I was just impatient

I am in Canada 2025 X6m Comp, completed the update, it never shown on my phone app but would pop up on my car screen when turning it off.

I installed it and since then, my "Auto H" feature turns off every time I shut off the car. Before the update, it always stayed on the last saved setting, which for me was always keeping it on automatically.

Anyone else have this or know how to make it stay on every time I turn the car on?

Also, after it was installed, I had a Power supply error pop up on my screen and phone emails msg from BMW saying to contact Roadside assistance. I turned it off and back on and haven't seen that error since.

This is the iX forum, but the auto hold issue has been well discussed in several forums. The solution seems to be signing out and then back into the personal profile in iDrive.
